Aiko' is a virtual pet app that provides users a companion to monitor their healthy activity using the Apple watch interface. The Tamagotchi-like pet, quite literally, holds onto users hands and keeps them company with every step they take. As the wearer increases their daily movement with walking or jogging, Aiko gets healthier and happier too. In this way, the virtual pet app encourages wearers to lead a healthier lifestyle.

The humanized app's interface has three simple pages. The first features the face of the beloved creature, while the next shows the amount of crystals it has left for food or features special "love" crystals. The final page tracks its energy and health stats, which is simultaneously monitoring the wearer's as well, sending movement-motivating notifications. Developed by TANK & BEAR, this wearable app modernizes the beloved 90s digital BFF, allowing users to even take their pet's photo and share it with friends.
