Fans of the brand are sure to remember the first time Pebble hit the market with smartwatch designs that were competitively designed and priced, and that same legacy is continued with the Pebble Time Round, which has just been announced by the brand. Featuring a design that's circular (hence, its name) and designed to look and feel like a regular watch rather than a smartwatch, the Pebble Time Round is purported to be the thinnest and lightest smartwatch on the market.

Instead of featuring a mini display, the Pebble Time Round utilizes e-ink inside the marine-grade stainless steel design that is not only strong, but will decrease energy consumption. On that note, the Pebble Time Round will run for an entire day after a 15-minute charge.

The adidas-owned running platform Runtastic has released its first wearable: the Runtastic Moment. There are variety of activity-tracking watches on the market, but the Moment has a little bit more to offer than the rest.

The watch comes with standard activity-tracking capabilities, such as the ability to count steps, calories burned and monitor sleep cycles. The Runtastic Moment however is waterproof up to 300 feet, which means you can wear the watch while swimming. Many activity-tracking watches are not waterproof, and separate swim-tracking devices are required. Although the Moment does not track swimming, Runtastic hopes to develop newer versions that will.

The Moment's battery life is also noteworthy and can last for up to six months, which is much longer than competing watches. The watch can also pair with Bluetooth to relay information through Android and iPhone apps.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition is the latest Android Wear smartwatch, only this one features a whole range of high feature and connectivity upgrades that sets it apart from its predecessor, not to mention other smartwatches.

This particular watch is equipped with both LTE and 3G connectivity, not to mention Bluetooth 4.1 capability. This of course results in the body of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition being chunkier than the original LG Watch Urbane. This particular device measures 44.5 x 14.2 mm, although bear in mind that the chunkier and taller body allows for a bigger display with a significantly higher resolution.

The world of smartwatches is still relatively young, but the LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition is moving the technology forward rapidly.

Luxury brand Bulgari has created the most smart and secure watch in the world. Buyers of the $5,000 timepiece will be able to transfer and store information to a secret military bunker hidden in the Swiss Alps just by using their watch face and smartphone. The data can only be accessed with the watch, providing a level of protection from hackers that wealthy consumers are likely to appreciate.

By linking their watch with the Bulgari Vault app, users can also easily make on-the-go secure payments, activate their home’s alarm system, access plane tickets and even unlock car doors remotely.

Although there are a number of high-end smartwatches on the market, Bulgari is the first to focus on security. But thankfully the brand did not sacrifice looks with its attempt to make the most secure smartwatch in the world designed to appeal to the lovers of luxury.

The Nomad leather watch strap is an Apple Watch strap that becomes completely unique to each owner with extended wear.

The leather watch strap originally comes in a light tan color, but with user wear, it becomes patterned in darker leather hues, taking on its own one-of-a-kind tone and feel. This is because the leather of the strap, while refined, is raw, untreated, unsealed and unpainted. As a result, it reacts to the body in a way that most over-processed leather goods don't. The Nomad smartwatch strap also features a more rugged, serious, masculine look than most strap options available.

As smartwatches gain popularity, the variety of options to accessorize them also grows. Apple itself recently announced a collaboration with Hermes to create a more fashionable, luxe Apple Watch option -- but the huge range of third-party straps available is also rapidly expanding.
