The Quiet Treehouse Promotes the Health Benefits of Noise Reduction
Visitors to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew are welcomed to experience the many health benefits of noise reduction at The Quiet Treehouse.
It is hard to experience genuine peace and quiet when there's nearly always a smart device within arm's reach to distract us. After observing that silence is a privilege few can indulge in, the designer erected this treehouse where visitors can escape the noise pollution that engulfs one's daily life. The whimsical sound-proof structure is a peaceful oasis that highlights the value of silence. Using the latest in sound acoustics and architectural design, the structure aims to encourage a generation that acts in harmony with nature.
The structure is an example of one of many meditative rooms that have been dominating the design world this past year.
