Warner Bros. Consumer Products Hires Mattel Vet for Senior Communications Role

Julia Jensen will report to WBCP president Pam Lifford.
Julia Jensen, who spent 15 years at Mattel in brand communications, has joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products as senior vp, publicity and communications.
In her new role, Jensen will be “responsible for developing and spearheading communication strategies that position WBCP as a high-performing industry leader and propel consumer engagement and awareness for its best-in-class brands and franchises,” according to the company.
Jensen, who will report to WBCP president Pam Lifford, will work with partners cross-divisionally and externally to drive public relations efforts for global licensing, retail and promotional programs across all WBCP products and experiences.
“Julia is a highly accomplished communications executive, who will be an essential asset to our team as we continue to drive meaningful brand engagement with our fans,” Lifford said Monday in a statement.
Jensen is considered a leader in the branded and global communications space. During her 15 years at Mattel, she reimagined brand communications for an evolving consumer base, spearheading the global communications strategy for iconic brands such as Barbie and serving as key communications contact for partnership management across diverse industries, including fashion, technology and entertainment.
Jensen is coming to WBCP from WWE, where she held the title of vp, brand.
