Sequent's Self-Charging Smartwatch

Relies on Body Movements

Sequent's self-charging smartwatch aims to put an end to the inconvenience of the blinking red battery bar.

Like all technological-based amenities, smartwatches come with a catch -- their battery lives are short-lived and require constant charging in order to carry out tasks. In attempt to fix this, Sequent modified the automatic movements of traditional watches with a modern technological twist to create a kinetic battery system. This system relies on natural bodily movements, and charges itself as the wearer moves around.

A kinetic battery system would provide users with the comfort and convenience of going about their day without the need to stop and charge their wearables. The self-charging smartwatch could revolutionize the watch industry, resulting in ultra-convenience and modern luxury.
